While the content stitching technology offers unique ad insertion possibilities by stitching ads into the live stream on the origin side of the network, Edgeware’s Ad Enabler product adjusts the segment’s lengths so that it exactly match the duration of an ad break. The exact segmentation is of key importance for the scenarios where the ad is stitched in later in the distribution chain, e.g. in the CDN or for dynamic ad insertion using 3^rd party manifest manipulation solutions.
